TREND ALERT---bold shoes

Bold shoes have two dynamics to them: bright colors and funky patterns. This trend is definitely going to be invading this spring and summer. Don't bother blowing your money on handbags and jewelry this season, and save it for your footwear. These shoes can be dressed up or down...however, you must keep one thing in mind when wearing bold shoes: try to keep the rest of your outfit fairly simple...else you'll end up looking like a clown. Here are some of my favorite bold shoe looks for this season---------------

Women's Mossimo® Darby Floral Peep-Toe Pumps in Raspberry are available at Target. These pumps are feminine yet very trendy, so you could totally get away with wearing them to the office. You can get them for only $24.99.

These Ombre Peeptoe shoes in the color blue-multi from Delia's were made for getting noticed. Their tie-dye color plays tricks on your eyes, and the 3 1/2" heel adds drama! Get your pair now for only $39.

Check out these super sweet Vidonia Pumps from the Betseyville Collection by Betsey Johnson. Available at Nordstrom, these youthful shoes are complete with rainbow stripes, rhinestones, and a plastic heart. Would you expect anything less from Betsey Johnson? Purchase them today for $89.95.

Set yourself apart from the same rest of the crowd with these Women's Printed Satin Flats in a green floral print. Available at Old Navy, these flats are packed with a punch! Vivid and daring, these flats will put black ballet flats to shame. Get them now while they are on sale for only $11.70 (originally priced at $19.50).

I have to admit, I am not a huge Jessica Simpson fan...but these Greymer Pumps in Electric Raspberry by Jessica Simpson were too adorable not to share with you. This shoe would look great with a little black dress, or even a pair of skinny jeans. Get your pair now from Macy's for only $79.
